Privacy policy

How Impressd Leads collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information — and how you can exercise your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

Last updated: May 2026.

This policy applies to the Impressd Leads website, lead-gen partner pages we operate, and the buyer products we deliver. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What data we collect

From consumers (lead submitters)

  • Name, email address, phone number.
  • Enquiry-specific information you provide (e.g. property type, postcode, system size, loan amount).
  • Consent record (timestamp, IP, page URL, consent wording shown).

From buyers (businesses receiving leads)

  • Business name, ABN, contact name, contact email and phone, billing details.
  • Vertical, sub-category, service area, volume preferences, exclusion lists.
  • Webhook URL, integration credentials, replacement requests, and billing history.

How we use it

  • Consumer data: to deliver the lead to a matching, authorised buyer; to honour opt-out requests; to provide consent records on request; to comply with legal obligations.
  • Buyer data: for service delivery (account management, lead routing, billing), for security and fraud prevention, for communicating product updates and policy changes, and for aggregated analytics that improves the service.

Disclosure

We disclose consumer enquiry data to the matching authorised buyer at the point of delivery. The buyer becomes a separate data controller from that point. We do not sell or rent consumer data outside the lead-supply transaction.

We may disclose data where required by law (e.g. court order, regulator request).

Storage & security

Data is stored in encrypted databases hosted in Australia. We apply access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege principles for staff access.

Your rights

  • Opt out: request removal of your details via /opt-out.
  • Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: request correction of any inaccurate information.
  • Complaint: if unsatisfied with how we handle your data, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and analytics scripts (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only after you opt in via our cookie banner. Declining cookies will not break the site.
